Main responsibilities include:
The coordination of recruitment activities:
- Work closely with the HR Manager and business to implement the People Strategy across the site
- Plan, coordinate and run weekly recruitment days at the Amesbury Distribution Centre
- Review interview question templates and assessments
- Draft adverts with hiring managers
- Post adverts internally and externally
- Compile CVs for hiring managers
- Provide feedback to candidates
- Schedule and support interviews
- Coordinate the issue and return of new starter documentation and contracts of employment (including right to work documentation)
- Work with the HR Administrator to maintain the Home Bargains Careers Portal (updating candidate statuses, replying to correspondence)
- Provide regular resourcing reports and statistics
- Manage adhoc resourcing projects
Generalist responsibilities:
- Assist with Employee Relations issues, such as probation reviews and absence management
- Provide guidance to Managers and employees on Company policies and procedures
- Note take in investigation meetings
- Provide annual leave cover for the weekly pay run
- Run the daily HR clinic for employees on site and resolve any queries raised
