• Manage the 24 hour site security and alarm monitoring operation

• Develop, review and implement CCTV, site security and safe guarding plans based on robust risk assessments

• Input to the security policy and standards for Company customers, employees and third party agencies

• Effectively manage resourcing plans to deliver security KPIs and plan

• Lead and conduct complex investigations, manage incident reporting and provide key security information to operational stakeholders

• Lead on security audits, health and safety risk assessments and manage the delivery of improvement plans

• Share intelligence and provide support to internal and external criminal investigations

• Implement security solutions and tactical preventative measures to improve customer, employee and agency/ sub-contractor safety and site security

• Provide security advice and input into property and infrastructure developments and strategic security plans

• Regularly review team performance, coach and develop to deliver the best security standards and KPIs

• I meet with my team and my operational stakeholders to ‘walk the site’, ensure safety and security standards are being met

• Talent and succession planning for the function, reviewing development plans and managing people risks with the management team

• Keep up to date on security industry changes and best practice

Package Description

  • Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience 
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service

Minimum Criteria to Apply

• Extensive experience of managing security teams in a retail and/or warehouse and distribution security and loss prevention environment

• Experience of managing health and safety security risk and contingency plans and procedures

• Experience of working with external agencies leading complex investigations

• Experience of managing efficiency improvement processes

• Able to communicate effectively, motivate others and manage stakeholders

• Able to analyse and solve complex problems
