  • Research, design, develop and implement apprenticeship programmes ensuring current and future trends, business requirements and development in levy policy are considered
  • Develop and implement an apprenticeship strategy
  • Responsible for full compliance in regards to third party audits; ESFA and OFSTED
  • Adhere to legislation and Company policy regarding safeguarding, equality and diversity and GDPR
  • Liaise with the apprenticeship delivery team to develop delivery of teaching and learning to a high standard ensuring it is responsive to the needs of learners and the business including developing training materials, induction and selection of apprentices
  • Design and deliver training workshops to senior managers to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of new programmes
  • Develop and maintain key MI reports taking account of key performance indicators (KPIs) including financial metrics, ROI, learner success rates, feedback and quality and be accountable for quality assurance and continuous improvement

Hours37.5 hours, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Package Description

  • Fixed term contract for a period of 18 months
  • £30,000 per annum
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance

Minimum Criteria to Apply

  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in recruitment and training
  • Knowledge of employment law, equal opportunities, GDPR and government skills policy and apprenticeships
  • Experience of coordinating apprenticeship programmes
  • Experience of leading and developing a team
  • Proven subject matter expertise with a strong delivery focus
  • A good working knowledge of ESFA, Ofsted, awarding bodies, funding guidelines and the apprenticeship sector
  • Knowledge and experience of quality assurance procedures, validation and audit reviews
  • Knowledge of the retail industry is required but of warehouse and logistics preferable
  • L&D background is desirable
