Package Description

  • £54,000 - £57,000 - dependent on experience
  • 37.50 hours per week
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service

Minimum Criteria to Apply

  • Degree level science qualification in a related subject
  • Post graduate qualification at minimum diploma level in health & safety / NEBOSH diploma
  • Professional qualification, ideally CMIOSH or working towards
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in related industry
  • Experienced in dealing with the enforcing authorities including Trading Standards and Environmental Health
  • Experienced in strategic risk management
  • Highly effective influencing skills and personal impact.
  • Accident investigation techniques and ability to make decisions independently in ambiguous situations
