- Volume Flow Planning: Effectively plan and manage the flow of product volumes in and out of the Distribution Centre, ensuring smooth operations and maximised throughput. Collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Network Planning Teams to align these plans with current and future operational needs.
- Inbound Product Management: Oversee the inbound product flow, ensuring all goods meet the required standards to support the automation systems' capacity. Liaise with the Buying Team to enhance product presentation and packaging to ensure optimal flow through automation.
- Labour and Resource Planning: Create and manage daily and weekly labour plans across all DC functions, ensuring adequate staffing levels that meet both short-term and long-term volume demands. This includes working with the HR Business Partner on recruitment and training plans, and managing agency partners to meet temporary labour requirements.
- Team Management and Development: Set objectives, manage performance, and support the development of your team, including the Goods-In Admin Team and the Training Lead, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet operational goals.
- Performance Reporting: Provide daily and weekly KPI reporting on Distribution Centre efficiency, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Operations Manager and the Production & Performance Manager to leverage data insights for continuous improvement.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams, including the Production & Performance Manager, to identify and resolve operational challenges. Work closely with the Buying Team, Warehouse, and Network Planning Teams to ensure alignment of volume, resource, and operational goals.
- Temporary Labour Management: Oversee the management of temporary labour through agency partners, ensuring that they perform in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Product Flow Optimisation: Engage with WITRON and other key automation partners to continuously improve product flow through the automated systems.

- Any 5 days from 7 including weekends

Minimum Criteria to Apply
- Extensive experience in planning and managing volume flows and resources within a high-volume, fast paced warehouse or distribution centre environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, with a focus on automation systems and volume planning.
- Experience managing large teams and cross functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to identify operational challenges and implement data driven improvements.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in labour scheduling systems (e.g. UKG Dimensions/Kronos) is desirable.
