  • Manage a range of property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations, across a portfolio of both owner-occupied and third-party leased properties.
  • Negotiate leases, including those with development and works obligations from landlords.

  • Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the Legal team; coaching and encouraging the development of others.

Minimum Criteria to Apply

  • Minimum of five years post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law, with a strong track record in managing property acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations.
  • Extensive knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, development agreements, and experience handling transactions from start to finish.
  • Strong ability to analyse complex property deals and provide commercially-focused legal advice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
  • A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all legal documents and processes are accurate and compliant.
  • The ability to work autonomously and take a proactive approach in managing cases, while also contributing as part of a wider team.
  • Experience coaching and providing guidance to more junior team members. Knowledge of wider commercial law areas such as intellectual property, commercial contracts, licensing, and regulatory law would be advantageous but not required.
